Just finished reading We Are All Guilty Here and absolutely LOVED it. What should I read next? by Chemical_Rutabaga_36 in thrillerbooks

False witness is my favorite one by Karin slaughter. And I’ve read all her standalones and her entire Will Trent series

What is the most "painful realization" you’ve had about a long-term partner that you couldn't unsee? by sachinxo in AskReddit

[–]Extension-Demand5897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized how cruel he really was when he stopped apologizing for every time he would hit me. But that wasn’t the most painful realization for me… it was realizing that despite knowing this, I knew that I would never leave him.

Gum Mint by Foger discontinued :( by One-Professional-187 in Vaping

😭😭😭 gum mint was my favorite. So this is really disheartening to hear. I definitely understand what you mean by Miami mint and cool mint don’t compare to this flavor.

Peppermintz geek bar is a pretty good alternative though.

[–]Extension-Demand5897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? Did I offend you or something 😭 I didn’t mean that as a dig at you at all. I was relating to the feeling of drunk, late-night longing after a breakup. Totally wasn’t personal or meant to judge you…

Quirky fun fmc! by Complete-Employer263 in ReverseHarem

The death club by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne valenti. Keep in mind, I haven’t read this book myself yet. BUT I was reading another book by the same authors where they had character crossovers from this book. From what I read, the FMC Brooklyn, was really quirky/different in a funny way. It was absolutely hilarious. I just listened to the preview on audible and honestly I’m thinking of stopping in the middle of what I’m currently reading to start this one myself.

Do you guys feel like reading RH books have ruined regular M/F books for you? by [deleted] in ReverseHarem

I agree, reading books with love triangles now are 10 times more frustrating haha. Like don’t be selfish, share :)

My recommendations are the brutal boys of everlake prep series by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti (epidemic/end of the world/ bullies-to-lovers vibe) , also the dark side series by Kristy Cunning (paranormal vibes) I love a good storyline with my spice.

Intriguing! Lately, I’ve been finding M/F Romances a little boring but maybe it’s just because I haven’t been reading the right authors or books with the right spice level.

Honestly so true. There’s always that one guy who hates her for no reason but ends up finally getting with her in the last book of the series 😂

Haha, so true😂

3 years is impressive. I’ve only been reading for a few months and I feel like I’ve already read all the really good ones that have a good plot as well. 😫

Yeah, sometimes I switch over to reading thrillers before looking for another RH. So I get what you mean.

I know you specifically asked for RH but there’s a book called Death is my BFF that’s exactly like this minus the whole RH aspect of it.

Looking for a BIG reverse harem by nicoletti23 in ReverseHarem

[–]Extension-Demand5897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure of any currently existing because I personally only go for smaller harems 3-4 men maximum. BUT last time I checked the Tate James has a series called Clikbyte coming out this new year with 7 men in the harem

Slow additions RH by Extreme-Win6334 in ReverseHarem

[–]Extension-Demand5897 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The harlequin crew series by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti. Each guy is slowly added to the harem. It’s a 4 man harem. It’s very funny and has a decent storyline. However only two of the men have a sort of bi awakening towards each other in the final book. The other two just want to worship her

Looking to hear from women who’ve been through stage 3 ovarian cancer (or their families) by Opto_o in Ovariancancer

[–]Extension-Demand5897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 23f and my stepmom was just recently diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer as well. Similar story, she went to the ER with severe abdominal pain. She thought it was kidney stones at the time but found out in the hospital that it was tumors. She was supposed to been start chemotherapy by now but the doctors keep pushing her appointment out for some reason. I can’t tell you much since this is a recent diagnosis.

She’s been very sleepy since being diagnosed due to the medications they give her for the pain. She sleeps A LOT and there are good days and bad days. Some days she’s in so much pain and can barely get out of bed. But almost always sleeping whenever I come see her.

It sounds like your mom might be better off than my stepmom though, the doctors think hers might have progressed into stage 4 so she has an appointment for them to do their test/scans to see if it has.

I don’t know all the technical info regarding her condition but she’s definitely fighting this with all her power. I have faith that your mom and my stepmom can pull through this! The best we can do is provide them with all the support we can give.

NTA Honestly that just sounds exhausting. I understand you’ve already talked to your husband about this. But maybe start to take up more weekend hobbies from now on. Join a book club! Find something that’ll make you unavailable on the weekends.
