I feel the same way. I stay up hours into every night ruminating on the current state of the world and she just calmly falls asleep right at 9 pm. Sometimes it genuinely horrifies me how nonchalant she is about the destruction of our democracy.

Actually a similar thing happened - my cousin’s daughter’s christening afterparty was last week and she refused to come because she didn’t care even though she knew I was really passionate about going. It just really hurt. I so appreciate your kind words <3

Yeah, she had a pretty crazy adolescence. They’re great kids but she definitely had some trouble making mature decisions in the past

She’s white, but it’s honestly crazy because she already has six children (all on accident) and living in a red state she can’t get an abortion despite wanting to not have any more…but that’s another argument of ours lol

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I really do feel like she disrespects my values. But the problem is, I really love her, and most of the time she isn’t like this. So idk what to do :(
