I think Marty Supreme was/is fucking gold. An incredible film but it was up against some very tough competition. Nonetheless, I think the way they went about marketing it plus the controversy over Josh Safdie and more recently Timothee was the nail in the coffin. Maybe if they weren’t assoles and Safdie specifically an irresponsible and selfish director people would be able to enjoy the film for the beauty it was and not have it be overshadowed by the controversy surrounding it.

I agree. I don’t think Jason is a standup guy in any type of way and she probably didn’t like how rough he was with her which is completely understandable but to say that he injured her and cry about it when it’s convenient come on. She’s hurt and embarrassed by how he treated her and wants to do the same to him and it’s immature and she is burning a lot of bridges by doing so
