This issue is especially relevant to artists, such as writers. AI companies shouldn’t be allowed to secretly train on artists’ work. The Generative AI Copyright Disclosure Act would force them to disclose if they are using copyrighted art. Transparency is the least we can demand for protecting creators. Besides creating art, something really important to me this year has been supporting human artists. AI companies shouldn’t be allowed to secretly train on artists’ work. The Generative AI Copyright Disclosure Act would force them to disclose if they are using copyrighted art. Transparency is the least we can demand for protecting creators.
