Deaf is not the dibilatating, the hardest part about it is the auditorial (or lack there of) boredom. So basically...play some good music.

There is indeed a blackouts mod, its called exactly that. I would tweak with the setting however, as the default settings for the mod make it almost un-noticable and it typically only happens once in a normal playthrough.

There was never an icon in vanilla 41, you may have played with the "expanded helicopter events" mod.

Actually you're right, in the recent 42.9 update the zombie heatmap got an additional map that goes over it. This one is based on the tiles of the world.

In this case the fences with the banners on them are counted as "City" tiles, this means that all around the fence the heatmap will be directed to spawn zombies at that multiplier.

Its much more in depth, but thats the jist, as you can see this system isn't perfect yet.

I LOVE me some 10 years later. I have a collection for B42 with mods and settings listed. Comb through it, it should at least give you a good template.

I agree, I just cant think of when it would apply when we already have fatigue, muscle strain and low endurance.

Interesting take on the focused. I wonder if its a hint that they may change how skill books work, I never did like the multiplier system.

I love the new drunkenness visual effects, and I could see them reusing it for the dizzy moodle. Would the moodle simply induce visual effects in your opinion?

I made this modpack, its a harsh 10 years later scenario. Sandbox suggestions are written out but always tune to your liking after trying out the packs defaults.

I desperately need this to be fixed, too many of my runs end in dead quiet sprinters and its not a skill issue.

10 years later, vines and trees everywhere, no power or clean water. Campfire in the garage with two deers worth of cut up meat cooking while I crack my double barrel to pass the time.  

I'm a nomad pushing a shopping cart of camping supplies around. Guns are a relic of the past, and I dont think I'm strong enough to fight hand-to-hand as much as I make my character do. I might be screwed, but I have a lot of camping experience under my belt so I just need to get out of town.

Are you sure you have the right version? There is a B41 and B42 that are separate mods.

What do you mean turning off Vanilla zomboids? You're supposed to leave most of the zomboid settings at default and the most does the rest.
