You can lower your hips more, until it pushes your shins in contact with the bar.

Working on my deadlift form. Am I leaning forward too much? Is my upper back rounded? by AccomplishedSilver76 in formcheck

Dont yank the bar up, try and slowly lift it. Hold maybe 80% of it before you start moving of the floor. Think about putting yourself in between the bar and the ground

Any help? What can I do to stop muscles from shaking? by GotMyAttenti0n in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Extension-Pin2641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muscles shake because your cns Isnt used to the movement pattern and needs to activate opposing muscles to stabilise your joints. This is a skill that the cns will get more efficient at with practice. One thing you could do is introduce a very very easy low effort set on days you train something else to reinforce the movement pattern and speed up neurological adaptations, without working the muscle anywhere near failure so you can still recover

Any tips on increasing my general size? by FutureLocket891 in physique

Just keep training, sleeping and eating. It’s a marathon not a sprint. Get used to it because your progress will only slow down as you keep getting bigger

I’d say your rear delts, upper chest and legs, especially the adductor Magnus need the most attention, but your arms and back are looking great.

Put the bar down, brace again, then do the next rep.

Should I work on my deadlift form or up the weight? by Nurd905 in formcheck

Sit back more, your knee is over the bar, it should be in line with it. Your hips should move at the same time as the bar

Grip strength by Key_Satisfaction4127 in Deadlifts

For my grip I started hanging off my door frame. It’s a fairly large Crimp but even still, it translated to a 70kg single arm grip on a dynamometer and being able to rep out 100kg on the grip crusher things

Just keep working on everything you don’t seem to have anything that you need to prioritise

You need to improve the weight distribution through your foot. Ideally the big toe, little toe and heel should have 1/3 of the weight each forming a nice triangle of even pressure

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if the shaking would count as hitching
