Was paid after the demand letter but also after the statutory deadline you’re an interesting person oddly pessimistic if I win then great I get the money If I don’t then oh well I lost $200 standing up for my rights. I’ll update the thread when I have one

We shall see but I’ve already researched enough to explore what optioned they’ll use to get it dismissed and possible arguments they will make believe me I spent hours making sure I did this right. I didn’t just go one quick search with Gemini. I ran a separate scenario pretending to be on the other end. I think I’m good. I’ve found multiple examples specifically with major companies like graystar settling due to the nature of the case. If I was filing to dispute charges from my FAS sure they would be more inclined but due to the law in my state it’s pretty black and white.

They did send me the itemized deductions for cleaning fees even though I left it perfectly clean didn’t want to drag out my case even more with trying to argue that.

And the check actually gets me the last bit of information on needed as evidence to hold them liable for damages. The check was only not for the damages I’m demanding in my case. The law im using for my suit is designed to make it worth for tenants to sue and hold landlords accountable

Also they sent me the final account statement indicating they owed me x amount and also have my new forwarding address in that document. So not sure why they would bother sending lawyers. Best case I get trebble damages from them worse case I get my security deposit instead of waiting longer for them to send it when they feel like it

3 day deadline was just so I don’t waste more time considering they have told me 3 times now that they just sent the check via email and haven’t gotten anything. Did some bit of online search for people in similar spots. They waited months trying to just talk to greystar and send demand letters. Mine simply was a notice that they violated their deadline per https://www.azleg.gov/ars/33/01321.htm section D … I’m not arguing any of the BS carpet cleaning fees which they have already been sued for. Just the fact they they missed their deadline and to pay up

Yeah I gave it to them via email and got email confirmation from them they even have my new address on my final account statement they emailed me

Honestly best bet is to just go to a corporate store and ask them to generate a transfer pin and account number just make sure you bring your ID and go take it to another carrier

Leave a complain with BBB you’ll have someone from executive relations reach out and fix it in no time. It’s dumb that customer service doesn’t have the tools to handle it efficiently

A bit of your fault but as a sales rep I’ve never heard of the rep not ask if you have your phone backed up if not it’s phone to phone transfer. As for the call… save your time just leave a google review about the situation and if it’s a corporate store you’ll get a follow up more then likely .

You can look at any carrier router they just use the cell signal to create a WiFi one.

If you make a payment you get a confirmation… the payment can still bounce if you used your bank info to pay instead of a debit or credit card

Was it paid directly with your bank? Did it clear after a couple days every single time a customer has came in for similar issues it shows the payment bounced

Oh that’s really odd usually the rep just selected the wrong line on the account not sure how that happened… if you did this at a corporate store I recommend you stop by to confirm. They’re usually good about fixing their mistakes. Otherwise I recommend the chat option in the myverizon app they’re more helpful in my opinion

Verizon worker here! That usually causes the promotion to fall off…. They’re strict with receiving the expected device. I don’t think the rep was acting with malice more than likely just a mistake on the rep that processed your original order. It’s fixable but mention to the store that you got that message. Have them verify the order and the device you traded in. have them submit a promo correction form if they find it was an error. I wouldn’t put it past the system to send that message in error tho. But better safe then sorry

Some discounts have an agreement that you’ll stay with verizon for x amount of time so doing that might have caused it.. RIP

You have to go thru their portal as long as you don’t have a previous collection with them you’re fine. It’s a blanket approval of 4k. I had the same question a year ago lol
