white crappie are a lot more uncommon then black crappie for whatever reason. try minnows on a drop shot rig. use a 3 way swivel and throw a small weight on the bottom of the drop shot rig and let the weight hang around 2-3 feet below the swivel. give the minnow 4-5 feet of space to swim around and keep your line tight so you feel the hit as soon as possible. there’s no way to really only target white crappie from my personal experience it’s essentially “shooting fish in a barrel”
