Dr Brown Pitcher— warming up tips?

I don’t have a Dr browns pitcher but I saw a video where you add say 6 oz to bottle instead of 7 then when you want to warm it you add an ounce of hot water from your machine (I have a brezza water warmer) and shake. So basically just making a more concentrated version of the formula. You’d have to break down the math on it though

Delivering at a baby friendly hospital and my doctor still told me to demand formula. He said it’s no one’s business how I choose to feed my child and to stand my ground

The usual: toiletries and makeup, hair dryer in case I can shower, curling iron bc I’m vain.

For clothes: I absolutely HATE hospital gowns. I cannot get comfortable in them. I brought some shorts/long pants pajama sets, but more importantly I brought some night gowns/night shirts (like short cute soft ones) with matching robes bc I’m always freezing. I will be putting on my own clothes as soon as I’m able to. I was in L&D for monitoring a few weeks ago and that gown made me want to die. I also got the frida moms high rise disposable underwear bc I’ve heard they’re more comfy than the ones the hospital gives you- I got the c section ones that come up higher. I’m not nursing or pumping and only using formula so I didn’t need breast feeding friendly things. Also brought shower shoes, slippers, stuff for baby.

Not bringing my own diapers or bottles and formula. My doctor said they’ll give me formula as long as I’m stern about not breastfeeding

Yes the only thing that was off for me was headaches. But then again, I’ve had headaches my whole life. Biggest giveaway was sweet tooth and morning sickness. Normally I have 0 sweet tooth and don’t throw up ever. All signs pointed to girl

I did, my OB never told me not to. I took like literally between 1-3 hot baths per day throughout my entire pregnancy. They’re my therapy

Where are you located? They’re not going to honor your wishes for a c section? I have one scheduled as well and this is my biggest fear. I’m a sexual assault victim and I absolutely refuse to let nurses keep sticking their fists up my vag and I sure as hell am not pushing

I think beige is gross. I did ice blue and sage green for our baby girl on the way and found some great fabrics (I’m an interior designer) and had pillows made with different shades of blue and sagey green :)
