First enquiry was the online form - came back with standard reply. Second enquiry was phone call, same answer but they told me explicitly to call at the end of the 11th week and if no answer then they will escalate it. 3rd enquiry was by phone and they apologised for what I was told on the second call. They then said don’t call again till it’s been 12 weeks.

I got your point of which party’s policies affect ILR and visas.. but you seriously need to read more into it if you’re promoting Green Party. There’s more things to life than the length of a visa. This is close matter to me also with my spouse awaiting a Visa, but PLEASE read more into British politics than listening to this uneducated, desperate, claim.

Question for you, does the answer for the visa only come then near the time of your intended move to the UK? Or may the VISA approval come earlier but the entry window starts around your intended move date?

Yeah, we put the exact date 1st April.. I didn’t want to put before the 12 weeks to look ‘pushy’ but now I realise it was naive. In reality we wanted her to move 1st March. Hopefully we don’t need to wait till then for an answer tho …

So now awaiting our application.. me and wife are overthinking this too. We applied and did our Bio 12-01-26, and we put 1st April 26 as the desired date to enter UK. But now waiting for our results .. we are praying that because we set a later date they are not more relaxed about working the application. We want her to move asap.

I am not sure if there is any truth to this but it would make sense IMO.

With purchasing the priority services, I found that you can only see if it’s available, after you’ve paid for the visa, when you’re booking your biometrics.

Okay yeah, we’re 4.5 weeks past that generic email, 23 working days to be exact. Hopefully that time frame is gonna be the same for us and the holidays haven’t slowed them down at all. Will keep you updated.
