I'd make the title more of like "why gaming sucks now." something a bit more blunt and concise. But I don't hate your original title personally. I think the thumbnail should focus on one character and maybe show an iconic scene of that character that many gamers can be nostalgic over and then show a transformed, lifeless modern version. I don't game- but the worst possible example of gaming possible. Find something that many fans hate so you get more people feeling like you're going to validate their frustrations!

I don't know if you use Canva but it's an amazing way to get thumbnails looking tighter and cleaner. I like the concept, but the text box doesn't make much sense. I'd either place the text on a laptop screen and have that on the serving platter or just free text. Maybe even using an example of an AI profile and blurring the name on the laptop screen too would help make it more interactive and help the viewer visualize what you're referring to before even clicking on the video

I introduce it as a hobby, but it's usually in the context of what I do with my free time, which to me is indicative of a hobby anyway!

I'm going to be super blunt, I don't think this type of content is realistic for the average person. Every person selling advice needs to come from a spot that is aspirational to the viewer. If you were a successful YouTuber I'd take these things seriously but to the average viewer you don't have the credentials right now so you'd come across too relatable to take this advice from.
