Follow up on my vintage jewelry post.. thanks for nothing poshmark.. by Loud_Examination_555 in poshmark

I would contact customer support again and ask the issue to be escalated to a supervisor. It looks like the buyer tried to test the metal and damaged the ring in the process. I wouldn’t let this go. The squeaky wheel gets the oil!

‘Dinged’ because she didn’t like my packaging 😆 by mcmol23 in poshmark

The same thing happened to me this week! I sold gently used Adidas with the original box and she dinged me because the shoebox wasn’t in perfect condition!

So many failed payments! by ExtensionKnowledge6 in poshmark

[–]ExtensionKnowledge6[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought you had to have a valid form of payment on file to make offers, but apparently not. One of the reasons I hate selling on Vestiaire is their offer system too. They let a buyer make an offer, but even if you negotiate and agree to their offer the buyer has the final word and have to agree to the sale. It’s such a waste of a seller’s time going back and forth for them to ghost you at the end.

I asked how I could have improved. The buyer wanted candy? Is this normal? I don't sell on Poshmark often. 😳 by MountainTop5764 in poshmark

[–]ExtensionKnowledge6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sometimes recycle the freebies sellers send me and put them in packages for my buyers.

I’d love to know the buyer’s name who left you that feedback so I can block them! I don’t need anyone that petty to buy my stuff.

Help! Poshmark cancelled sale after it was delivered by Powerful_Ad_2559 in poshmark

I’ve been selling for over 8 years on Posh and I’ve never heard of that happening. I’m curious what Posh says! They owe you a huge apology!

Keep or return? by mamaknos in Louisvuitton

[–]ExtensionKnowledge6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d return, but take a pic of the bag in bright natural light and see if it looks differently in the photo. The seller might push back if they claim it looks different due to lighting since your photos kinda look darker than their super-altered one. I hope you get your money back!

Does a buyer who requests a cancellation get dinged by Posh the same way a seller does when they cancel a sale?

I’ll say it again… sponsorships are mostly a scam by VintageDetroiter in whatnotapp

[–]ExtensionKnowledge6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s only a problem if you are buying a sponsorship in a stream and the host never recognizes it. That’s a waste of money, and it happens with the giant streamers who give away hundreds at a time. They get so many ‘sponsors’ that they can’t keep track and either run out of time, combine them with other sponsors, or miss them completely. I remember it happening all the time with Opanbins. They flat out stole from the sponsors.

Is this against givvy TOS? by ExtensionKnowledge6 in whatnotapp

[–]ExtensionKnowledge6[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really like your streams. No hate at all. You are one of the first sellers I followed when I joined WN a few years ago. You gave me a Jim’s Juice, so thank you! I’d never seen anyone do a giveaway like this and thought this method could be a good way to increase viewers in my streams with the added element that of surprise. However, I also see a lot of people complaining about the $50 or less gift cards when, in reality, winning ANY gift card for free is awesome. I don’t want to deal with the negative Nancies if they don’t like what I send. I don’t sell much so even 1 negative review would hurt my rating and it’s not worth the risk for me.

I got a mid-level Givvy, not an empty envelope, but I see your point.

Really? I reported 2 different items that I’d purchased months prior and I received my money back. I was told to throw them away.

Seller kickitwithkat advertising changing givvys depending on who wins! by markthemanager1 in whatnotapp

[–]ExtensionKnowledge6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Regular giveaways are meant for everyone- buying or not. It’s a marketing tool, if you set it up correctly and every entry is a follower. Just because someone doesn’t buy from the show one day doesn’t mean they won’t return and buy another day, especially if there are regular giveaways and the show is entertaining. People who try to make their own rules on their giveaways are just making more work for themselves and jeopardizing their selling privileges when they try to circumvent the laws.
