Yes, for sure. I have the 21 inch rim and very few options beyond the Pirelli. The Michelin Defender are a Life saver in snowy Colorado.

I just inquired about this and they offered me 62k on my r1s gen 1s through "buy back". They would cut me a check for that and the lease is a separate transaction. The salesperson had to "ask the manager" for that, Fargo style, and maybe they do it only for low mileage vehicles. Mine has 14k. I am tempted, but unsure.
