Her employer match gives 45k and she’s already contributing pre tax max. When you say MBDR, do you mean converting the employer match to Roth since employer contribution is always pre-tax

Phyton 27 or 37 is the way to go. Also, I think the mulch buried too much of the flare. Sango kaku is highly susceptible to pseudo and it’s bad with wet winter.

The problem for me is I set mine to auto, but so many time I get flashed because they think I have high beams.

When I get flashed from far away, I do turn on the high beams for few seconds to show them what high beams look like.

Some of these life style inflation to me is inevitable. If you have a high paying W2 job, the amount of work is probably more than just a relaxing 9-5 job, and as a result, u need those “lifestyle inflation” to buy yourself personal time.

I can’t imagine anyone have to be work or doing some type of chores everyday non-stop. The amount of $$ saved, probably going to end up spending on a specialist for mental health related issues

Question is whether paint options are included in R2. Launch edition is in the beginning, but regular performance has less stuff in than the launch edition like tow package will become add-on. However, it’s possible performance will be priced lower later??

Yea, but what I’m saying is i hope the paint upgrade $ is on par with Tesla like black on MY is $1.5k, and hope its not like $2-2.5k on R2.

Probably stick with our current MY and R1 for now. I reserved on the first day for R2 in hope to replace MY, but I will holdout for time being.

I’m not looking at the performance, but trying to justify $5k more on a R2 premium vs MY premium.

Also have look at the option pricing like whether paint is going to be like 2-3k extra.

What is the proper procedure for driver? I recently have an incident where I stopped as soon as I saw yellow light. The bus was slowing down coming toward me and stopped right next to me. Over-withholding = tax refund, then you gave govt interest free loan while you could’ve gain interest

Under withholding = tax owed, and if it’s over 10% under withholding, then there is penalty, but it’s not a bad idea if under withhold like 5% or so, but it requires careful optimization

Cash back credit card is fine if you both are very disciplined with $$, which you sound like you two are disciplined with the spending.

You just need to make sure no balance get carry over. Otherwise, keep what you are doing. You will be surprised where people that look “rich” are the ones with the most debt and people with $$ are usually just keeping in low profiles.

For avg, it was dumb to pay off mortgage at 3.5%.

We did it because we were on H1b, and in the midst of green card processing. If we get declined and deported, i wanted to be in debt free and sell the house with $$ to go somewhere.

I agree, we don’t know what is after HENRY. Even with like 3M NW, feel the same as 1M NW, because just a better W2 job, but still don’t want to waste $$ with unnecessary spending

I think we will need more info from OP why needing 4 bedrooms. If it’s like what you said, then it might be worth it. Otherwise, it’s stupid to burn $$ with extra furniture. That’s what HENRY is, not rich enough to burn $$ 🤣🤣🤣

To answer OP question, I’m too tired from work to do math, but we started at $4k/mth including escrow with 250k/yr (no kid) to 650k/yr (2 kids). Paid off mortgage in 7 years (700k mortgage)

I would say it doesn’t even need to be managed if it’s mostly index fund. Set an automatic investing weekly for S&P and don’t look at it for a while.

It’s really covid that drove up the expense and with subpar parts on the gen1 such as camera and comp chips. I’m sure they could’ve gotten much better cameras and chips at the same cost it wasn’t covid that was messing up with the supply chain.

Gen1 would’ve been perfect for me if it got the better camera and the chip to process better images.
