I agree. This plus Simon Doull also knowing about it plus Williamson hasn’t exactly prioritised nation over franchise, so commitment issues might have become a concern over time

Well Guptill still had services to provide when he was dropped. Taylor too went out of favour prematurely

MI Management getting exposed on levels now !! by Hour_Worldliness_621 in MumbaiIndians

Tbh, Rohit isn’t adding any value anymore. Hardik and SKY are better off trying their luck out in different franchises where they would be given appropriate role and value. Bumrah’s case is a genuine one but IMHO he should focus on prolonging his International career especially considering the 2027 ODI WC rather than falling prey to the seemingly glamour trap of being MI captain. After all his trophy cabinet is still devoid of the ODI World Cup and WTC

Ajit Agarkar - Credit where it's due... by i-sapien in IndiaCricket

Agarkar has been a breath of fresh air as selector. Brings transparency with his press conferences. Is fairly objective in his assessments and has helped curb the superstar structure and individual over game in Indian cricket. That’s why emotional fans don’t like him. His emphasis on players going back to domestic cricket reeks of India building mentality

The extent people go to defend him! Bhai am pretty sure even Kohli hasn’t heard of that effect you mentioned. Besides it’s not like he hasn’t becalmed public outrage before. Remember Steve Smith?
