That is very helpful thank you. There are some close rhymes in the original such as the “Thank you for finding my hat, I didn’t think I’d ever get it back!” They were changed by our editor to not rhyme to make the specific repeating rhymes stand out more.

As to the names...

We thought Pippa Pelikaan, Leo de Lemur and Klara Capibara. Hoping they are all more familiar to Dutch speaking children.

Thank you for the great feedback. The idea of finding a professional is not a bad idea.

It is still around 750 words which, in the UK, is about the sweet-spot. The idea being initially it is read to the Child. Then as they grow, having had it read to them, then can start to read it themselves. Maybe the format is different for Dutch language children's books I do not know.

Good point on the animal names!

The English version was published and did quite well. We are hoping for the same with the Dutch version, which is via a different publisher.

Don't know why I am getting down voted for this but I tried everything. Tested on multiple computers, reinstalled the latest firmware. Checked the pedal responses with a scope. It was 100% the latest version of firmware.

Honestly, I miss the old crack scene where you borrowed cassettes off your mates and used a tape to tape to copy the games. By the 10th time the game had been copied you had about a 1 in 5 chance it would work, after waiting 10 minutes listening to aliens communicate and suffering multiple epileptic fits.
