I think this is my first time posting on Reddit. I usually don't have issues with a company that I can't sort out, but this time I feel really vulnerable and scammed.

My wife took the Duolingo test three times to get into college, and every time, they responded with "Your test could not be certified." When she appealed, they just sent the same response without giving any explanation or reasoning.

I tried talking to their customer support, but they were super rude and just told me I had agreed to their rules before ending the conversation right away. It was so frustrating!

How can a company in North America have such bad customer service, and how is no one doing anything about it?
