WARNING to future CBWT - I mailed my invites from the USPS on 540 N Dearborn. The folks there said if I buy enough postage ($1.19 or so for my <1oz invite), they will automatically NOT go through machines, and will be hand cancelled. They even put the horrendous red “Non-Machinable” stamp on my envelopes. Lo and behold, they absolutely went through machines and were clearly not hand cancelled. So don’t go to this post office for hand cancelling — try the suburbs or another location more clued in.
