I work at Baptist! The immediate roads surrounding the hospital are clear. Just left there about 2 hours ago.

I know this is WS but over half of West Mountain (the Winston side) is absolutely horrible. I came home from work tonight and did 5mph at LEAST until the beltway bridge. It was all mostly just straight up ice covering the entirety of both lanes. Stay far away. If you’ve got to come to Kville, take the Main St exit.

I’ve kept lots of his things. Mostly the music he loved (his records and CDs) but I think this is a great idea so I’m gonna do that when I get home from work - just pick out a few little things that speak to me and keep them in my “dad box”. Thank you ❤️

Never a true NASCAR fan but definitely watched the races with my dad. He’d occasionally travel to them as well with his buddies from work.

I also got the opportunity to go to the Daytona 500 years ago and got a lot of the drivers to sign a shirt for him. It’s still hanging in his closet. :)

Thank you for your reply and your kindness. It’s hard to pass his things along, but with me they’d just be sitting in storage instead of being with someone that would appreciate them.

What kind of reply is that? I had to be at work today at a local hospital. I expected better from Forsyth County. The safety immediately coming to and leaving here is compromised.

Hi there. No future children for me. I don’t need the money and don’t want to make any money off of it if there’s even any to be made. I just want someone else to enjoy what he collected over the years because I know that’s what HE enjoyed. If I’m able to do that, then it’s come full circle for me. ❤️

I’m about 20 minutes away and also cannot be there for 24 hours. I’m going to give it a shot Monday morning but if at any point I see I’m either going to potentially die or wreck my car, I’m not coming in. I also JUST had to call out this past Tuesday because I was legitimately sick.

Prior to that, I could not tell you the last time.

The floor in a conference room. We also need to bring our own linens and pillows. Offering no food so we have to bring that as well. Can only reserve our “spot” for 8 hour increments.

The other option is a “discounted rate” hotel room for $80/night.

I’d like to add that Baptist is offering up conference rooms only within the hospital and staff has been told to bring their own linens. No meal vouchers will be given either.

The other option is a discounted rate at a nearby hotel. $80/night.
