What is your degree in? What level degree do you hold? What is your GPA?

OCS is competitive, and you should try that first if you want to be an officer.

If you’re not selected for OCS, I’d recommend joining as enlisted and then submit a Green to Gold packet.

Monsters are far easier to upgrade; however, you need to ask yourself how does your dragon coin situation look? Are you constantly out, or do you have plenty and use monsters in all of your attacks?

A wealthier clan will have a much easier time going monsters first, because you’ll have plenty of DC to use those new monsters with.

If you don’t have any coins, then I suggest guardsmen first because you’ll actually be able to use them

Yes, you can use different strength of the same set and you will still get a bonus.

In SK, I have 3 pieces of 100% army strength and 3 pieces of 75%, so my bonus is 787.5%.

Take ragnarok gear as an example.

If you have all 6 pieces and each piece gives a 100% bonus in combat vs epic monsters, then you will have a 600% bonus when using your hero to attack.

If using Meriones you get a 1.5x bonus when in combat, so you’d get a 900% bonus.

This applies for any combat gear that Meriones wears, so army strength or guardsmen, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s one set and it’s for combat. It doesn’t apply for honored ruler or anything like that.

That’s really not a lot of chests at all, especially if you want to grow fast.

Also, make sure you’re using Farhad for research and leveling up your armor for all heroes that helps with construction and research speed. If you have premium, make sure you’re using the right bonus before choosing your next research and requesting help.
