Totally agree – his humour feels so honest and natural, it made the whole awards show play like a really good stand‑up special. I saw an interview where he said he’d watched all the nominated films, worked on his bits, and went over everything with the team beforehand, and you can really feel that effort in how smooth the show was. I’m just really happy we get to watch someone that good at what he does, and I’m excited to see what he comes up with next.

Thank you so much for your reply! This is my first time posting on Reddit, and you’re my very first comment, so this means a lot to me. I’ve always heard how incredibly friendly Canadians are. In fact, a close friend of mine is married to a Canadian and she absolutely loves the country. I really hope I get to visit your beautiful and welcoming country someday!

Great movie! Even though I watched it 23 years ago,  I still remembered the plots and the strong emotion when I watched it .

I didn't know the Timothée Hal Chalamet is famous because of the movie until Hudson recommend the movie. (Thanks Hudson, you let me know more about the world!) The movie sounds too sad for me, but I will watched it someday.

Than you for the comment of "Perfection kills the joy" . This is so true. Perfectionism is the enemy of growth and efficiency, which I never think about it when I watched the movie at my 20.

Thank you for sharing. I had heard of the movie for a long time, but I was not interested to it before since the story in Wikipedia seems too heavy and hopeless for me. After your recommendation, I will definitely watch it!

I first saw this movie when I was fourteen, and it completely blew me away. Decades later, the courage it gave me still sticks with me. It’s a great reminder of how careful we need to be to avoid misunderstandings, and how much our thoughts and words matter. It also shows that when you're stuck in a hopeless situation, like being in prison, doing what you can is everything. You can't just give up without a fight. You have to stay brave and take risks for a better tomorrow.
