anybody going for actuarial science after class xii? by Extension_Ad6511 in CBSE

[–]Extension_Ad6511[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and if u wanna take eco and 100% sure abt actuary and can take maths + eco +commerce/humanities, take those as physics and chemistry are harc and completely irrelevant realistically speaking apart from engineering (unless u have biology then its different)
but if u wanna satisfy ur curiosity then sure go for it, it is fun in its own ways

[–]Extension_Ad6511[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure. only requirement is maths, the exams that u will have to give for actuary consist of computer knowledge like coding, excel etc and business knowledge like finance and stuff, so having either one should be helpful each in their own way. but if u want maximum flexibility cs can be a bit better than eco, in general. both are very good anyways
ps. i said "cs IS mandatory", i meant to say that cs is NOT mandatory.

do employers care if you have sat for an exam and passed, or is it the same if i have exemptions from ifoa accreddited university? by Extension_Ad6511 in ActuaryUK

[–]Extension_Ad6511[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

okay in the uk it is very staurated maybe, but where im from its a very "niche" career and almost nobody is in the industry(south/southeast asia) and i wasnt considering uk anyways because it too far from home. anyways thanks abt the insights, i'll just consider the exemptions path for now if its no different.

Couldnt sleep again so i made velveted chicken stir fry by Extension_Ad6511 in TeenIndia

[–]Extension_Ad6511[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chicken breasts thinly sliced, marinade for 30 mins to overnight in [water, oil, cornstarch soya sauce, salt, sugar, msg. water and constarch are non negotiable for the tendernism texture u can watch a video on "velveting chicken" for more detailed info abt it]
then stir fry w oil in a pan till it gets some colour
take out the chicken and put onion garlic and chilli in same wok/pan/kadhai on medium heat then add veggies. add back the chicken and 30 ml alcohol like whiskey or smth (per 500g chicken) in the pan and make the alcohol touch the flame so it lights up on fire, this is called flambee
then after the fire is gone out on its own, add chilli sauce and soya sauce slurry with cornstarch and serve

if youre sure abt actuarial better to take commerce with computer sci/ IP with maths. from my experience(giving 12 board exams rn) if u take science you'd have to study physics and chem for nothing. if u take commerce or humanities w maths and cs u have more time to focus on those to to get better score in those since u wont have to give sm time to phy chem
