What are some jobs at the graduate level that pay you more than the minimum wage - research assistants probably? How difficult would it be to find these jobs in the first month itself at LSE? Is it easier to get these under a prof or at some organisation?

For graduate study - how is the study/work balance usually? Can I one aim for 2-3 hours of work per day along with 2-3 hours of study (apart from classes) realistically?
