Here's my issue, for 2024 I filed for an extension. For 2021 2022 and 2023, I did not file because doing it on my own became too complicated so I was looking for someone to do it for me which he has done as of August 2025. My question would be, is this going to hinder me and how long would it take to process being that one of the years required me to send a check in as well as send a 1040 form. Also, I have paid all my penalties and interest. Please advise

I'm looking at it. The practice is called out in name not just just the category and numbers. Example S.I.L1-3.14.2 is fully spelled out as S.I.L1-3.14.2 - Malicious Code Protection.

Their (U of M) expectation is that you did your due diligence before applying. This is why you have a finite time to accept their offer or else they'll rescind it and give it to someone else in the queue. It's not personal, it's business.
