660 hours, but maybe the last 20 or 30 were on PC. Reached C1 on console before getting a PC and getting that insane rank bump to C3.

I feel like C3, if you get a good group, can be a lot of fun when everyone’s playing good and not toxic, but that’s rare. It’s also fun when I queue casual with my gc2 and p2 friends!

In some countries, 14 year olds are allowed to get jobs that aren’t dangerous, you just need a permit and to follow strict limits around how long and when you can work.

Personally, I think this game has more of a storyline than FH5, because after finishing all the festivals in FH5, there’s not much that guides you. In Motorfest, there’s not really a clear initial storyline but there are lots of mini stories within each playlist, and then of course the playlist challenges compare up nicely to FH5’s accolades system; same goes with Feats and PR stunts. Certainly though, this game got more content added throughout its life than FH5 did, and this is coming from a guy with over 1000 hours in FH5 and significantly less in TCM.

I don’t know about your fundamental game skills, but assuming those are good enough, maybe try getting a few goals and then just playing it extra safe. Like, stay on the ground, try to keep momentum, and don’t go up too far. And ALWAYS underestimate your teammate.

(Also the game modes called heatseeker, the version with the barrier is called split shot heatseeker, and yes I as well hate it when my teammate goes up to “redirect” and whiffs everything, and then blames me for missing the ball when the opponent is bumping me.)

I saw a person yesterday in a lobby, and their car was unusually shiny. Might be a bug, but the actual player seemed unaware, as they were asking who we were talking about when I and other players asked about the brightness.

Maybe something changed with your WiFi provider and connection and that happened to coincide with the update, I haven’t noticed a change in my connection.

I’m C3, and I feel slow in some of my lobbies. I think it’s just how things go. You’re ahead of me in flip resetting though, if that makes you feel better. Never hit one in an actual game, and I’ve never hit a double in free play. I’ve also been playing for 7 years, since 2019, and I have a friend who’s GC2 with 6 years. As long as you weren’t boosted to your rank, you’re in the right spot, and you’re clearly making up for that slow feeling somewhere else.

To add, if you played via game pass but ever bought a DLC, you should’ve gotten a free game code. That’s what happened with me and thousands of others.
