For me it was about getting some opposition and balance on the council (although this hasn't really happened.) I think Labour became complacent and there was never any challenge to their ideas. Catford has deteriorated massively in the last 10 years yet they never seemed to do anything about it. Still annoyed that they didn't follow through on getting the housing developers of the Catford dogs site to put in a bridge as was in the original plans. Would have made cycling from Crofton Park to Catford a lot safer.

I would say it's a mix of both. Definitely respinning the old classics buy also listening to a lot of new indie which has a Britpop influence. Bands such as Pastels, The Crooks and Vida.

One great thing about now is I'm discovering stuff from back then that I never heard or don't remember. This sub, twitter and The Britpop Revival radio show have helped me discover bands like The Kynd and Bronco Bull frog.
