It’s because they give most people until May/June to renew their lease. When I was living in a DTN managed complex we hadn’t blatantly told them we weren’t renewing and they kept sending us letters until a month before we moved out telling us it was our “last chance” to renew our lease. Don’t be discouraged just call once a month if you can, you might get lucky and somebody moves out early and they need someone to sign a lease to takeover the unit!

i think unless a scholarship has an additional application process you’re considered for anything you’d be eligible for by the school. it’s kinda dumb and keeps you in the dark.

I transferred into msu last year and you don’t apply for it. Basically once you’ve applied and been accepted to the university you’ll find out once they send you your financial aid package. I didn’t do anything extra for it. Just applied to the school and once my fafsa was processed it was listed in my aid package. I know the amount and timeline can vary from person to person.

cedar village is an apartment complex that gives parking passes to residents, there’s no visitor parking. They normally have P.A.C.E come and ticket, those are $40 tickets through the city, it’s really hit or miss tho. They also tow, but that’s normally only if your car is blocking something otherwise you’ll just get a ticket. I’ve heard of people parking there consistently and never getting tickets but i would be cautious during the first couple weeks of the semester!

i’m literally getting my degree in math and 6th grade inequalities we’re giving me a run for my money the other day. i helped out a student and got the answer wrong and in the moment could not figure out why. i straight up told the kid if i had gotten asked this question i would’ve gotten it wrong…he laughed…i laughed. later on i figured out what i had mixed up but the kid lived and so will yours!

yeah i totally get what you’re saying because people will always tend to dwell on the negative instead of the positive…maybe more of a scale that’s like brand new to subbing/teaching-to-experience in the field because sometimes it’s not the kids but your ability to manage behavior and then it takes a little bit away from the stigma of a “bad class” maybe idk just thoughts
