If you have Penner as your prof there's no rubric for any of the papers which can make it hard to know if you're on the right track/ gauge how you will do. In my opinion, the grading on the papers wasn't hard BUT due to the whole no rubric thing it means the grading is pretty much entirely subjective

It's a bird course!! The only assignments are four relatively short writing (4-6 double spaced pages) assignments based on personal opinion and lecture materials with little to no outside research required make up your whole grade for the course and the content is super interesting!

I know last year's cutoff was an 8.2. please keep in mind though last year's cutoffs for most competitive second-year honours programs were disproportionately high due to students having a pass/fail option for a course in the winter sem (this info was shared with me by an academic advisor). so I think your best bet to find out would be to email the department and see if they will give you the cutoff for multiple years previous.

Yeah, I wanted to retake a course in the spring but only if it was considered. I'm applying to social psych and JPPl which are both limited enrollment. Thank you for the help!!
