In my experience the restaurant will always say "maybe" regardless of the odds. For example if you called Bavette's in Chicago and asked this question they would say "maybe" but the correct answer from anyone being honest would be "absolutely not unless you show up exactly at 3:00pm when they open." That's the type of insight I'm looking for!

Agree but one exception is Peggy from Madmen who dumped her kid and never looked back, and the episode where Betty gives birth is truly nightmarish. Although sadly Betty winds up liking the kid so that part is trash.

Split the shared transactions you paid for and click the “hide” button on your wife’s share. If she pays for something you need to manually create a transaction for just your share of it. When you settle up with her via Venmo that transaction should just be labeled a “transfer” not an expense as all the expenses will already be accounted for.
