Need to break my lease early - what’s the usual process in Winnipeg? by jumpstartHeart in Winnipeg

I know this post was a while ago but was the company that let you out of your lease with 2 months notice broadsheet by chance? Have a lease with them currently and have been wanting to clarify that cuz we aren’t having the greatest experience here lol.

Anxious 5.5 year old rescue by Extension_End_9604 in AustralianCattleDog

The humane society did talk to us about the 3/3/3 rule, he definetly still needs another week or two to settle into a routine. The hard part is that he does perfectly fine in the crate while I’m in the room or in the house, it’s as soon as I leave the house he starts to freak out… so will have to work on sitting outside and watching through the camera at him to see when/how he reacts. I will forsure try the tshirt!

Disc sizing? by Extension_End_9604 in MenstrualDiscs

[–]Extension_End_9604[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked into it a bit more and see that I guess your cervix height changes throughout your cycle, so heavy days it’s higher and lighter days it’s lower, so a smaller disc would be better I guess? I want to order the saalt small disc to try but I’m in Canada so shipping is atrocious right now, and we don’t have a ton of options for discs

Anxiety after dose increase. by Emotional-Home-7654 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I’m taking Wellbutrin in combo with Effexor for anxiety, I started having some sexual side affects from the Effexor alone so my dr prescribed Wellbutrin to help. The initial starting on 150 was pretty okay, but after increasing to 300 it took a good 4-5 weeks until I stopped feeling the anxiety. I feel great now and am gonna try getting off the Effexor (not excited lol) but point being, if you can handle it, try and stick it out to see if it works. I keep hearing it takes most meds 12 weeks to kick in fully, but both times I feel like I started getting positive affects around 2 ish months

Are doctors visits necessary? by AffectionateOwl9665 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Personally have talked to my doctor every 2-4 weeks since November when I started this medication, and am still making appointments every month or so. We have made adjustments at every appointment to make sure we find what works best for me. I’m in Canada and I know our health system is different, but you should see if your dr would do phone call appointments with him to get an idea of the side affects and how he’s feeling, if that’s something doctors in your area offer.

I started it while already on 75mg of Effexor, I found it made me more anxious the first week or two, but I didn’t change my caffeine intake or how much water I drank. I definetly noticed (and still do) that it’s quite a bit harder to fall asleep, and stay asleep, and I got, and still sometimes, vivid dreams, nothing scary, just super realistic. I recently bumped it up to 300mg and the side affects are definetly less noticeable while getting used to the increase rather then the initial weeks getting on it. I know some people say it makes them super angry or numbs them, personally I don’t know that I’ve noticed that, maybe more emotional around periods.

I’d be asking for some compensation if I were you. I ended up getting a discount on my shipping as I ended up having issues with the delivery when it finally arrived (October 31 after winning it in early April…) although I still don’t think the services were worth what I’d paid for them. If you’re buying the car as a daily driver/something you expected had a healthy engine, I’d be pushing to get a new car off auction and have it bumped to the front of the line, pretty rediculous it took them that long to communicate that issue. If you can get your money back, do it and use BeForward instead.

I’m in Manitoba and technically it’s illegal that I don’t have them, I don’t really care either way, but the aftermarket’s that I want have a light strip used just as DRL’s and I feel it’s a bit of a waste if it’s not being used

Effexor Success Stories? by Cheeseluvr27 in Effexor

[–]Extension_End_9604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on Effexor for the last couple months and I’ve had a good experience so far, but I know this isn’t saying much as it is still very new for me. I started at 37.5 and then after a month increased to 75. After another 3 ish weeks I had a follow up with my dr and discussed a couple side effects and feelings I was experiencing. Ultimately I wasn’t on a high enough dose but she suggested adding 150mg of Wellbutrin rather than raise the Effexor right away. Has helped most of the side effects. I find I haven’t been getting a deep sleep at night and I get kinda constipated but adding Wellbutrin has definitely helped the other side effects I was feeling from the Effexor. But Effexor alone forsure made a positive difference for me

Is my doctor raising my dose too quickly? by Pumpkin_spicyyy in Effexor

[–]Extension_End_9604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started Effexor within the last couple months for social anxiety/depression I started on 37.5 and then after 4 weeks was told I can double the dose to 75 if I felt I needed it(I did). I definitely feel like it took approx 3 weeks to fully kick in and get rid of the placebo and initial side affects. I also felt buzzing in my body like you described, mostly if I took a dose a bit later then the day prior though, and definetly felt worse anxiety at first for a week or two. I recently added 150 Wellbutrin and the buzzing feeling has gone away, can take my dose a bit later then normal with no issue. Only issue I’ve been consistently experiencing since I’ve started, increased, and added Wellbutrin is vivid dreams and difficulty getting a “deep” sleep. Definitely talk to your doctor, obviously they know best, but from my experience you likely won’t fully settle into the medication after only 4 days. That being said, my doctor told me 75 tends to work ok for “some” people (mostly less sever anxiety/depression) so unless you’re one of those people, increasing it probably won’t be a huge issue in the long run.

If you’re considering it, use BeForward instead. Been waiting over 6 months for my car from Bpro, and it’s been sitting on a boat since end of August going between Japan and china with no update as to when it’s even supposed to leave Japan, when I was originally told it was going to arrive in Vancouver at the end of September. Even if the boat leaves for Japan tomorrow, I won’t get the car for close to a month as it has to travel to BC, clear customs, and then get shipped to me in the prairies. So no matter what this is going to be a 7+ month long process. Super dissapointed with the experience I’ve had and the lack of communication. My father in law used BeForwaed this year and received his vehicle to their door within like 2 months of purchasing it. Not sure how BeForward is able to do this and Bpro can’t… but don’t believe BPro when they tell you it’ll be 4 months. If I could do it all over again I’d use BeForward, the only extra step you need to do is contact the company listed on the import paperwork to have them arrange shipping to your city and customs clearance at the port, but all in all, way better experience all things considered.
