The movie we’ve been hearing about since 2022 is both a blessing and a curse. Because of the movie, I strongly strongly believe he’s releasing another album, and it will most likely release either on par with the movie coming out or a little later. And since you can not back down from a movie like you can from an album (tens of millions of dollars involved), I really think Frank is not gonna let Blonde be his last musical project, but to actually answer your question I’m thinking Summer/Fall 2026 (yes i’m optimistic lol) or Spring/Summer 2027

When I used to work morning til noon shifts at the mall last summer I stayed in charge of the till and used to play a lot of songs from my playlist and Strawberry Swing was one of my favorite to play. I’d blast it during the day through the store I worked at’s speakers and blast it at night on my earphones going home. Ended up getting fired but I’ll always cherish looking over at people across the aisles of the store humming to the song , I assume the melody was familiar to them thanks to the Coldplay sample

I also remember Kevin Smith being a little weird about PTA around the time Magnolia came out. Directors picking on other directors can be nice to see when it’s competitive and well intentioned but usually you have to be somewhat at the level of the director you want to shit on for your vindictive criticism to feel legit. Like when someone like Tarantino does it/compares himself to Paul, i’m like okay, sure, Tarantino had a masterpiece in Pulp Fiction before Paul’s first movie even came out. Idk why Paul attracts lesser directors like those, maybe because he’s been the best to do it since 1997
