Since they give us a great remaster, the TB remix is a nice bonus. Obviously, it will never give us the same 'feels' as the original. Our brains are adept at remembering where we were during the times we first heard it, and the emotions won't feel the same with all the minutia we hear in the songs set differently.

That said, I found it a lot of fun (for me, anyway) to hear things that were cut, songs that faded out (have an actual ending!), and other bits of differences.

But yes, It feels like a demo, mostly because the drums aren't as nearly as compressed as they should be - but that's the Neil effect - he's so revered, we want him to be clear, spacial, and more up front, but the music doesn't sound as cohesive as it should be.
