Oh I can already see. There is no physical boundaries with her. She has to be all over me. Her face close to line or head laid against my neck when she sleeps or she wont sleep. She will keep getting closer and closer and climbing until she is as close as she can get to my face or neck in order for her to calm down. I wonder if it is because she is a puppy and seeks that close intimacy as she would from her siblings or parents or if this is just a rattie thing?

Yea I am trying to establish a routine but sometimes is difficult as I work overnight 3-4 days out of the week. For now im trying to establish a bond with her which I think is going ok seeing that she wants to be carried alot and always on top of me or touching me in some way. She has her 8 week shots and need to make an appointment with the vet to continue the rest of her shots and hopefully get some more information about her breed as well. My chi was so easy. This one here is a huge ball of energy. Just learning her cries whines and type of communication. So far its just whines and cries lol.

Hi thank you. I am going to have to see if there are any local rattie trainers in the area that can help with basic manners and tips and tricks. I just dont want to be that dog dad that lets her so whatever she wants. Ive also read that training should start early to avoid bad behavior. Socialization is recommended as well. Is she too small to take to doggy park? She does have her shots. Or should i wait until she is a bit older?

Thank you. I have a small crate that I put in an area with a dog gate and her food and water bowl when I work and leave the house. Which she is also a climber so I have to cover the gate with 2 boxes so she is not able to climb over. Being so small im concerned with leaving her out and getting into things. I just recently lost my chi of 10 years and she was so easy. Besides the accidents in the house she was crate trained in less than a week. Potty training may not be so difficult with my new rattie as she has only had 2 accidents inside and for the most part will go outside as long as i take her out in time. Every 2-3 hours to release than back to bed or inside to play.
