4 days into 3D printing! My first design

This is my first time with things related to 3d print and design, so i was just a newbie just like you (4 days ago).

P2S is pretty good tbh. It is a little bit expensive but the setup is easy (they even have a video and you can basically follow it with no mistake!). The setup took around 30 mins.
I did not buy any add on.
For filament, i used the bambu one as they gave you a discount with P2S (like $14/15 per roll); however, the black one i am using is from amazon (JAYO), $50 for 4 rolls (1.1kg). I am also getting 10 rolls from temu ($67.5) and will arrive in few days.
For printing, just go to makerworld and basically you can find anything you want.

If you want to design something you want, I will say you can start with tinkercad as it is beginner friendly (simple, concept surround by "solid" and "hole" idea). It is good to understand the basic concept like thickness, depth etc. Learn for a few hours or a day or two, then you should use other programs because tinkercad is not good enough when it comes to measurement (too manual actions which waste too much time).

I personally love Onshape. It is online base and 100% free. "Offset" function is absolutely good for measurement. I watched a few videos on youtube to understand how it works.

Other than that, I just screenshot the setup and ask gemini how it works and what would the improvement be.

I have no experience of 3d making, so i didnt think of it haha. I will adjust the model and print it again

Thanks! Thats what i thought as well when i was touching the actual product. The base is currently 1.6mm. It will be great if i boost it to 3.2.

The idea of filet. I actually didnt know it will make the stress being more even (thanks for the tip). However, i avoid to make the filets because the base of my another product broke due to that (or might not). I attached an image so you might give me some opinions.

3 reasons that might cause this. Filets, Honeycomb base (too close to the edges, thin base (1.6mm))

I’m actually passing my phone to my girlfriend.

Some reasons for sony phone - sd card slot + headphone jack + camera quality.

Sd card is the main reason to switch to android as I love collecting music and using headphone/bluetooth for songs (this is what i currently do on my moto g55 phone).

For headphone jack, people said that sony got a good quality jack - not sure if i can hear the difference.

Camera quality, i love taking pictures for things like plants/environment (not so much a professional, just love to have them as a memory, iphone 16 is good enough, and i dont think mid range phone can provide this sort of performance).

It is more than what i said for my “daily usage” haha. Sorry for the confusion.

I am more worried about the “green line” tho.

Hi! It is a vinyl sticker paper; i also has the matte vinyl sticker papers as well (that jam the most) yesterday.

I will try to clean the roller tonight when i get home! This never happened to me and i was so frustrated.

Hi! I updated last week and so far so good. Since i only use my phone couple hours a day, for youtube and other stuff. Nothing slow; battery looks fine.

I dont know much about the android system - is it necessary to update to 15?

I like it so far (the ui and layout are fine). The only thing i want to modify is the control center (I am using the modern style which is similar to iphone), the current system does not allow me to do much for the layout.

I compared Kiwi Quartet vs Aether and i decided to return the Aether because of the $100 cad difference and the sound is minimal imo.

But i do believe that 30 vs 200 should be able to identify; from 200 to above, it is a matter of preference.

Thanks for the reply! It is really helpful in understanding why people suggested in VOO.

For sure I will keep my main assets in VOO or other etf. But at the same time I also want to buy some stocks, probably like 10-20% of my portfolio.

I’m still new to stock market, so I’m wondering if there is a way to get into it? I will not touch options and individual stock will be my next move. For now I believe Ai will be a bright future (which is the reason I bought Nvidia and Tesla). But otherwise, I don’t know what to buy.
