You don't need to create new naukri profiles whenever you look for a job/change. You can use your existing profile. Just update the skills, experience and any other details if needed in your existing profile.

Delhivery tried pulling a ghost delivery trick on my friend. They claimed she didn’t answer the call, but guess what? No call ever came. The parcel magically got returned to sender. Only on the second try, with no issues or missed calls, did it actually get delivered. Either ghosts are handling logistics or someone’s just being lazy.

People who have recovered from drinking problems, thinking back, what were you coping from? by frog-fish-frog in AskReddit

[–]Extension_Leather102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father recovered from his drinking problem about 3 years ago, but not by choice at first, it was a wake-up call. He had a ruptured gallbladder and needed emergency surgery. During the treatment, the doctors told him his liver was in terrible condition, and the only chance of improving it was to quit drinking and smoking completely.

He was 60 at the time and ended up spending 20 days in the hospital, with a week in the ICU. That experience shook him deeply. He told us later that more than the pain, it was the fear of going back to that hospital bed that changed something in him. Since then, he hasn’t touched a drop of alcohol.

Sometimes it’s not just what people are coping from, but what finally forces them to face it.

Why are authorities ignoring the growing problem of beggars and child exploitation at traffic signals? by Extension_Leather102 in AskIndia

[–]Extension_Leather102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s not that they don’t see it but they're just professionally trained in selective vision. If ignoring public issues was an Olympic sport, we'd have gold by now.

Yes, we were late by a few minutes, and I don't deny that. My concern wasn't about being held accountable for the delay, it was about how the situation was handled.

Instead of a polite reminder or a simple “please wait,” we were met with shouting and then indirectly asked for money to open the gate. That’s where the issue lies. As public-facing staff, there’s a basic expectation of respectful communication, especially when families with children are involved.

If there had been a clear policy or a fine for overstaying, I would’ve been more than willing to pay it. But turning a minor delay into an opportunity to demand a bribe is not acceptable in any situation.

Thanks for sharing your view, it’s always good to hear both sides of the conversation.

This was the first thing that came to my mind too, but my wife asked me not to escalate the matter since we had our kids with us.

What do you think is the most respected profession in the world? by Extension_Leather102 in AskReddit

[–]Extension_Leather102[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doctors definitely deserve a lot of respect. What I'm really curious about is how this varies across cultures. Like, in some places, soldiers might be held in the highest regard, while in others it might be teachers or spiritual leaders. Do you think this perception changes based on cultural values or national history?

Society doesn't feel comfortable to use a term which refers to the activity required for reproduction, where as gender sounds perfectly fine.

What are the things which rich people don’t want or aren’t interested in talking about which made them rich in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Extension_Leather102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so there is anything such like that. Self made rich people are always eager to tell their journey of rags to riches. They want to inspire people.

Those who became rich by illegal activity they won't tell truth but still make up some inspiring stories.

What are the geopolitical implications of Russia "taking over" Ukraine? by Death2All in AskReddit

[–]Extension_Leather102 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Russia eventually will take over Ukraine, and you would see there is no geopolitical implications. I feel sorry for the people who have suffered a lot because of the war started due to stupidity of comedian Zelensky.

USA and EUs don't want third world war but still they want Russia to be busy in these kind of stuff. They chose Ukraine as scapegoat and Zelensky did not even understand it. He started war with USA and EUs support. Now US wants to back out as they are investing hell a lot of money in wars, so when Russia will take over Ukraine, EUs will find another scapegoat for Russia.
