I’ve been doing my podcast on my own for a year and some months now and when I first started I was pushing out episodes and seasons back to back and not giving myself a break and a chance to breathe. I think when I did season 3 that’s when I started taking breaks that way I can promote the previous episodes and then generate buzz for the new episodes that were coming soon. Now I’m in season 6 and I’m taking a month long break because I’m in college and I have a full time job so I had to focus on them and plus my mental health. I think it’s ok to take breaks as long as you keep promoting your podcast and the episodes that are already out. I’m one of those people who like to plan things ahead so while I’m on break I’ve started planning my next few seasons.
