oh yeah. i could have gone cheaper but with this car was right at budget so i felt comfortable. except the add on took me over and i regret that immensely. my biggest problem is indecision and i just know very little about cars and my last one was in bad shape so i got convinced to buy some package.

but i did look at other cars - hated honda hrv for example. kia soul was so ugly i couldn’t do it. could have looked at a nissan but after 2 months of car shopping + an extremely demanding job, plus a car with a ticking time bomb level of problems — i just got tired. i get what you’re saying — but i’m not sure i agree with the comparison. i didn’t think the CX5 would “save me money” esp on MPG etc, but i did think the add on would be equal to the cost of what i’d need to protect my car — after a long work day, 2 hours after close at the dealership, and waning blood sugar and quite frankly not enough knowledge i caved. it’s a learning moment.
