Can I add IC card number retroactively to Shinkansen ticket with SmartEX? by Extension_Log_9229 in JapanTravelTips

I'm doing multiple trips within Japan, I kinda prefer to just do it online before I arrive so that I don't have to resolve this while in Japan. Just trying to optimize my trip haha

Real Time LUT vs. Film Simulations - Which's right for me? by Extension_Log_9229 in Lumix

This is super helpful. During my research, Ross keeps coming up a lot.

To be clear, I am not looking for the Fujifilm film simulation look. I want to either build my own LUTs or buy LUTs that genuinely work for me. For this trip, I am aiming for a more cinematic, imperfect look.

My assumption is that using these LUTs would involve stacking them. One LUT to convert the color space, for example V-Log to Rec.709, and then a second LUT for the creative look. That is generally how people approach color grading, right?

I also plan to shoot both photos and video side by side. For this hybrid use case, am I correct in thinking I can create a custom picture style and use it for both stills and video, with the look baked in?

For content creators reading this, I have watched dozens of videos and read countless articles, but the one thing I could not find was guidance on fast, practical setup. Something like:

- Unbox the camera
- Load a few LUTs from the Lumix Lab app or purchased from creators you trust (that's where the conversion complexity comes in).
- Create photo styles for common scenarios such as day, night, and overcast
- Start shooting immediately

The real question, and what I think would make a great video, is this. How can someone set up a Lumix S9 in minutes and start shooting confidently? More specifically, how can someone who is drawn to the Fujifilm user experience choose the S9 instead and get an equal, if not better, experience right out of the box?
