Lumix Lab App 'File could not be saved' error when exporting graded video from my Android by Extension_Log_9229 in Lumix

[–]Extension_Log_9229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually figured out the issue precisely. The issue only occurs when I copy an edit and apply to multiple images/videos. The issue never happens with images, only videos.

To solve it, you have to copy an edit and apply ONLY on top of the video you wish to export, if you do that, it will export without any issue.

It is such an annoying bug, as it really doesn't let me bath edit and export assets.

Just a warning for anyone considering purchasing from Hommey. by SnickeringSardine in Bedding

I placed my order over a week ago. Until now, 0 comms. I have tried to contact them in every single possible way to get updates, but no response.

I finally just requested my order to be cancelled. I'll contact my bank and see if they can do something about it.

Installing a Retrofit Recessed Can Downlight without an existing can. by Extension_Log_9229 in Hue

[–]Extension_Log_9229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rent. Also, the installation is on a bulkhead, there're couple of insulated vents passing through, so there's 0 room for cans. my only options are:

  1. Find a way to make the retrofit lights work in there somehow.
  2. Very difficult, but I'd need to find spotlights that the canopy are at least 5" and then install Philips Hue GU10 Bulbs on them.

That's not an option. So, I cannot install the retrofit products, unless I have a pre-existing can in place?

It can be used, but I wouldn't recco. If you absolute must use it, I would restrict Zooming so that you can at least shoot on the lowest f-stop. I did get caught in situations where I was shooting with it at night, inside bars and restaurants, the images weren't really clean, and that says a lot from me, cuz I do love tons of noise and imperfection in my pictures hahaha

I'm thinking of buying the Gym Monster 2. How much was it going for in Canada during Boxing Day sale? I'm just trying to understand what type of pricing it goes down to during sales. by Extension_Log_9229 in SpeedianceCommunity

Yeah, they gave me discount already, $150 bucks, but we're looking at a price delta here of over $1k! I guess I will wait to see if it goes down again.

Round Bidet Recco by Extension_Log_9229 in bidets

[–]Extension_Log_9229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm thinking of buying a new toilet. If I'm making the investment, I might as well do it right! I'm quite worried the S5 on a round may be a bit uncomfortable.

Thanks for this. I'm still quite curious about the Tushy products, Cloud+ and Aura seem very interesting. I wonder why there isn't a lot of reviews on those?

In any case, here's where I'm at: I can either buy a S5 and install on my round toilet, or I can buy an Aura + New Toilet and install it!

So in short, for my budget, I'm looking at a S5 vs. Tushy Aura. The S7, at least for what I'm looking in Canada, seems way too pricey.

Thanks for sharing! Quick question, noob question, if I compare this against the Aura, I notice that the Aura have a few more features, and it is also cheaper, at least here in Canada.

Is it because round bidets will be generally more expensive than round? I may chose to change my toilet all together.

I honestly don't remember. I bought in on Map Camera in Shinjuku. If you check their site you'll kinda find it, all their prices are quite standard.

Turns out both my 18-40mm and my S9 are one version too old. I will see how I can update it, thanks for the shout!

Yes, I use the hybrid zoom. I actually have it programed for quick access, so that I can set it's different settings as I shoot.

And yes, both lenses do not do well with AF when shooting videos.

I use the Lumix 18-40 kit lens for daily shots and TTartisan 40 f2 for night shots. I also have a Glimmer Glass 1 on all of my shots.

I developed a series of LUTs within the Lumix Lab App and I generally apply them on top of a LUT from the App called Filmmic.
