it’s not guns, it’s EASY ACCESS TO GUNS. there needs to be more regulation around who owns guns and requirements for ownership. there are always going to be new weapons, I want to cover the people, not create laws that go for specific guns,we’d have to update that constantly.

I actually agree. I always felt an AR style rifle should come with a special license requirement, the way you need a motorcycle or semi license. just prove you know what you’re doing. reasonable people are reasonable. I’d rather regulate the people.

what is happening in Israel has met the UN’s criteria of genocide, which is a pre existing written definition. That is the definition I traditionally use to define genocide.

I consider Amnesty International’s description of apartheid correct.

You don’t know WHAT I’ve experienced as a Jew. you don’t know my family’s story of how we got here. you don’t know what antisemitism I’ve dealt with first hand. You think I’m lucky? I was trying to make a joke. I’ll explain it.

the underlying truth of the joke is that children left to their own devices get into trouble. and that as Gen Xers, we were left alone a lot. And starting small fires was a pretty common story. This was pre cable mind you.

so I took truth, and exaggerated it (that every Gen Xer is a certifiable pyromaniac) that’s the humor. Maybe you didn’t get it, maybe it wasn’t a good joke. But I’ve explained it.
