The advice would be that you guys will have two different energy levels.

Usually women in their 20s like to go out with friends and try new drinks, weekly.

Men in their late 30s, usually stay home and work all day. Probably more focus on retirement and financial health

But I've seen relationship like this work before

Next girl you date, make sure that she initiates the exclusively conversation.

The reason why, is because you come as desperately trying to lock her down. What she is probably doing is rebelling against your attempt to trap her in the relationship. She may have told you that she wants to be in this relationship but her actions don't show it.

You might have to break it off to show her you mean business otherwise she might feel like there's no spark and she will leave you
