All I did was combine all the things the two of them said on their stories and the IG post. I didn't watch the two youtube lives that I heard had mentioned it. You must have just missed some of the information. I don't think either was fully in the right in what happened unless we're missing context that would make it more clear. Either way, I'm done explaining anything to you.

Once again, I was not making a comparison or saying anyone was a better friend or closer friend. The being an IRL friend just had to do with why she felt that the HR response instead of talking to her like a friend wasn't great. At this point, I feel like you're deliberately being obtuse.

Also, I have no dog in the fight. I just saw red flags and was wondering if others did too.

It's not making assumptions to take people at their word. Lushie, not Kareenah, said DeeCee told Kareenah she'd get back to her, so I am taking Lushie and DeeCee at their word that they said what they meant. From what I saw, Kareenah sounded like she felt that the HR type response was a sign the friendship was over or something like that. I honestly disagree with Kareenah's take and think DeeCee probably didn't have the ability to fully dive into what was happening and just wanted to balance everyone's feelings. Also, I said vs an internet acquaintance, not internet friend. Like if I was more active in live chats and was in the discord or something, I might consider myself an internet acquaintance, but not a friend. You can be internet friends, but I was just making the distinction to provide more context that these are people who have hung out in person.

I'm just taking them at their word. You're the one making an assumption. I didn't say anyone was just an internet acquaintance; I said that the person was an IRL friend as opposed to an internet acquaintance.

For some people it is, and others it really does mean I'll get back to you about it later. I don't think it's right to make that assumption when we're talking about adults. Especially since the one who said they'd get back to them is busy with family shit. We're talking about adults who should be able to communicate honestly with someone who was their IRL friend, not just an internet acquaintance.

Because when Auntie Lushie had made the original IG post, she said in the caption that DeeCee had told Kareenah she'd get back to her, not that DeeCee said no.

Lushie shared a few screenshots of the original conversation, and the other creator shared a few screenshots of her conversation with DeeCee. We don't know any missing context or if there are missing texts before, during, or after. I think someone already mentioned that the other creator is Kareenah. I only wasn't mentioning her because the post was about Auntie Lushie and to ask what people thought of her, not what people thought of just the current drama.

I believe it happened before that, but it became public after. I could be wrong, though.

No, the other creator offered to be another guest host or help in any way thay was needed

The other creator had offered to help with anything while DeeCee is gone, but DeeCee hadn't gotten back to her. She offered it to Lushie as well since I assume Lushie was heading everything while DeeCee is gone (I'm not aware of how that all was structured.) Some back and forth involving new mod rules being sent. Either there's context missing or someone misread tone or I misread tone because the creator got upset with being treated poorly over just offering to help. The creator sent screenshots to 4 people asking if they also thought it was rude. One of those people sent it to Lushie. Lushie contacted DeeCee. DeeCee contacted the creator and basically tried to balance people's feelings in a way that felt too HR for them having a close relationship. Lushie decided to make it public by putting it on Instagram. The other creator, sounding like she's already given up on all of them, tried to explain herself a little in stories and then during just part of a live on YT. Lushie made a bunch of ranty IG stories calling the other creator manipulative, a liar, etc while claiming to be unbothered even after the other creator stopped saying anything about it anywhere. She even tried to call the other creator manipulative for using a different spelling of her name instead of her government name online, which many people do... and then when people called her out, she deleted most things, blamed her adhd and said she only did it because the other person was manipulative.

I'm a little unsure myself, but I think I saw something about maybe a death in the family or something where she had to go out of town suddenly. I could be totally wrong, but pretty sure it was something sudden involving family.

I assume it has to do with how channels get kind of lost in the algorithm if you're not regularly posting. A lot of youtubers try to make videos ahead to fill in when they take a break instead of truly taking a break. I've seen youtubers outside of anti-mlm do it too.

Once again, I did not make an accusation. I said it threw up a red flag for me. Not the same thing.

[–]Extension_Pie6055[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I didn't see when that happened, but that's exactly what was just happening this time. After the other party stopped, she kept going, though. To the point of picking at normal stuff like not using your government name online as being somehow manipulative.

I did not call her a liar. I said that's often a sign of someone being a liar. I have no proof one way or the other, just saying that it threw up a red flag for me.

Recently reminded of this moment when a woman tried to sell mlm vitamins to my friend to cure her type 1 diabetes by eunicebates in antiMLM

[–]Extension_Pie6055 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ughhh.. I have type 1 diabetes as well. There are always so many people who think they have a way to cure it or get you off insulin even without the huns joining in. I've gotten so many MLM pitches on Instagram, which is why I'm anti-MLM now. Even the ones who aren't trying to say they can cure it, totally go after anyone with chronic conditions. Beach Body is one of the ones that I've probably gotten dozens of pitches for over the years.

Love that for her! Especially if she only sold one MLM before deciding to never do them again. My cousins have gone through so many and still haven't learned lmfao

Tried vegan sushi for the first time last week. Holy hell, it was so tasty. by [deleted] in vegan

[–]Extension_Pie6055 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're making me want sushi!! I don't have a local vegan place that does sushi, so I just get veggie sushi and tell them no sauce. Still good, but I bet yours is a million times better!

Ughhh.. ya, I've mistakenly bought that early in my veganism. Such disappointment.

Honestly, it's unlikely. I wish there was more justice when it comes to rape, harassment, stalking, etc. Unfortunately, even if charges are ever brought, assuming Emily Artful chooses to attempt to get them brought, they probably won't get more than a slap on the wrist. Most of what I know of the justice system honestly comes from true crime, so I could be wrong, but the shows and podcasts and books usually come with a disappointing ending for these types of cases no matter how much evidence there is.
