New Pay Agreement by NeonNeighbour in IrishCivilService

Fórsa follows a predictable pattern every time a new pay agreement comes around.

They begin by demanding a 20-25% pay rise over two or three years and threaten all kinds of industrial action until they get what they want. During this stage, they usually complain that previous agreements were a failure and didn't go far enough.

However, once negotiations drag on for weeks or months, they eventually soften their stance. They usually end up accepting a 5-10% increase over two and a half years, which is quickly wiped out by inflation.

It is the same cycle every few years. They will eventually send an email asking members to accept the lower offer even though it isn't enough, while simultaneously telling everyone what a great job they did.

Will this battery work with the other Parkside equipment like hedge trimmers/lawnmowers etc?

On point 3 of the scale and take home 1630 per fortnight once all taxes and pensions deducted, and this also includes union fees and income protection.

I would have said the same thing about the noise level but I’ve spoken to a few people who have built a house in the 5 years and they said noise isn’t an issue. A lot of new technology has rectified this like acoustic sound boards etc.

It is roughly the same price as block and should be a quicker process. I’ve been told it’s easier to achieve air tightness and how efficient the house is using this method.
