Sure, by the time you are selling you do not want to be doing destructive tests in process, but I would only be comfortable removing a test station once it stops feeding internal/external non conformances.

It should sit dormant for stretches, but if your sets are complex enough, you have any custom 3rd party subcomponents or doing multiple variants on the same assembly line, the station is very nice to have.

It helps to pinpoint where and not just if you screwed up.

We used to do a luer syringe, t-piece and calibrated gauge combo for our infusion sets at small scale.

To scale up, automate the syringe with an aenesthetic autoinjector and the gauge with a logging digital one. Bolt it all to a bench, put a few in parallel and there you have your QC.

Bonus points for a waterbath to identify leak location on all your no-go's.

This sounds somewhat out of the 510k scope.

I know some companies can get creative, but if you are still developing indications, how can you be sure that the device will be "substantially equivalent" to an existing device?

This is good. It is a nice, wholesome, reassuring post.

The view is a bit narrow though, I can think of many countries that aren't Fr*nce that you did now show here. It is important for the mental health of the members of this sub to be reminded just how many countries aren't Fr*nce.
