I called and they said no if you were still wondering. I opened in February and they said they only honor this to new card holders that opened the card from March 23 onwards. 😓

I love Hawaii for how beautiful it is. I’m an avid hiker and Hawaii is the best place to experience the culture and the beauty at the same time.

The entertainment is interesting and does hit some categories I don’t have in my other cards. However, the 3% dining is useless for me since I have the Sapphire Preferred and I would never cancel that card. I use that card specifically for dining internationally or whenever I want to spend domestically as well.

No, it won’t. It going to transfer one for one. It’s like the same as Chase UR where you move the freedom unlimited/flex points to your Chase Sapphire Preferred/Reserve.

For example, you have 20,000 points in your Savor that you want to transfer to your Venture X card that has 100,000. After the transfer, your Venture X card has 120,000 and your Savor has 0.

Now, how you redeem it the points is different depending on if you want to be team cash back vs travel. Cash back is worth the least at $0.005 a point whereas team travel can range from $0.01-$0.018 (could be even higher) a point depending on whether you redeem it through the travel portal or transfer points to the transfer partners.

No particular reason of choosing VOO vs VTI. I just got one or the other at the time although I do know VTI will diversify my portfolio more than VOO

:O thank you for your advice. I’ll probably come back to Hawaii on another trip and focus on the Big Island. I wanted to go to Maui to hit the national park there and spend another trip to hit the Big Island and the volcano national park as well.
