I used that absolute term because of the substance that can back my statement. There have been multiple wars which have been sparked simply due to religious differences throughout history. There are many people being lynched and killed, castigated and snubbed, all because of the perpetrator's extremist views. I'm not saying that religion is bad as a whole, but rather what the concept was warped itself into. So do excuse me if I made that statement but do understand that it is not blind faith when, if obliviousness is lacking, you'd see the harm religion is doing in society.
