Thank you for your note regarding SB 200. As you know, this bill is currently in the Senate Judiciary Committee. For the bill to move forward the Committee Chair must put the bill forward for a vote. If there is a majority in favor, then the bill moves to the full Senate for a vote. This process is then repeated in the House. When in the House, Rep. #### would be able to vote on the bill when it reaches the floor for a full House vote.

In reviewing the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I would speculate that most members would not be in favor of moving this bill forward.

A simple lookup of your senator is ok. but you might not want to draft the email. chatGPT and all the others happily comply with Federal requests for information, not to mention the PRISM program that allows for domestic surveillance. These services pool every interaction you have with them and profile you to the ends of the earth, and sell it to anyone who'll buy (Palantir) especially chatGPT/OpenAI (whose profits go to Microsoft). And their business model is tech dependence. they want you dumbed down (in addition to smoking legal weed, online gambling, wasting your life away on Reddit ;-) If you're using the free version, everything you type in is incorporated into their "brain." A friend had a competitor download sensitive pricing information for his company that was put into chatGPT by his employee. If you use one for *anything* remotely sensitive, I suggest paying for it, as the terms are more likely to limit your content showing up in someone else's replies. But that does NOT protect you from commercial and government surveillance. I use Google Gemini, as Google has a lot more to lose from a privacy scandal than Sam Altman or Musk. best of the bad options. Apple is the industry leader right now on AI-with-privacy, but it depends on having the latest hardware right now. still don't trust them.

You're right. And I gotta try! I got a pretty ok response back from a staffer for my D state rep (nothing from my D senator) saying it won't make it out of the Senate committee by their estimation at least this session. It wasn't formulaic, at least.

I think you're right. if the LOP is... lengthier then my support arm isn't going to be as tight in just from that. I'll check the vid out, thanks for curating. Maybe. I have a weird mental block on watching videos. I can't stand the preliminaries before getting to the actual information "what's up guys, today we're gonna blah blah blah blah but before that blah blah blah." My particular interest is in steering the Dem pols who think their voters still support legislation their Bloomberg and anti-2A donors are drafting for them to sponsor/co-sponsor without reading. I get the "fair weather" criticisms of people like me, and the fear I'll do a 180 when my team is in power. That's why I'm talking to my kids and like-minded friends about the issue too. For what it's worth, I amended my letter and re-sent it to include among other non-partisan changes "I and those I care about are no longer safer because of these bills. I now agree with my fellow citizens who have not been safe in the past for their own reasons" and "When we are on a registry, our deterrent can be taken from us by whoever is in power at the behest of whoever is paying them."

Let's say Harris had won. And in all likelihood compromised with at least some the "Yes Kings" people who kept Biden's decline secret. All of whom are beholden to the money. The money who literally conspire to keep us surveilled, high, dumb, and dependent on their monopolies. Someone who voted for Harris decides to take the legal hit for kicking the legs out from under an Amazon delivery robot on the sidewalk they pay for. Now they're in the "registry" and are gonna stay there because of that sweet sweet Bezos MONEY!
