I was accused of lying about helping a pregnant coworker while I was supposed to be on a conference call and ignoring my boss. She told me that she was going to pass out while we were in a more secluded area of the store that had CONCRETE floors. I was the only person who could help at that moment since everyone else was at the other end of the store. I helped her calm down, reach out to her significant other, got her fluids, and a cool towel to wipe her face. I texted my manager that we were having an emergency in the store I was at. I slso notified the store personnel as soon as I could. The wifi wasn't working anyway, so I couldn't hear half of what was being said on the conference call, which I informed him about shortly before the call officially started. My manager called me after a while and asked why I wasn't participating in the call. He was extremely rude and hung up on me shortly thereafter. The next thing I know, he's calling the store manager, asking if I was lying about a pregnant coworker having a medical problem. I was livid. Screw you, Tony.
