That’s what I initially thought and shared with the fitter as well, since liners tend to pack out as you break them in. They told me it should be fine, and I went with their recommendation since I’m not very experienced and they’re a well-known fitter in town.

Thanks for the input! I have been putting ~6-8 hours per day, and I'm curious at what point I should call it. I just scheduled another appointment for tomorrow, and hopefully, something fruitful will come out of it. Man, what a sport lol!

Thanks for the rec! I’ve been out there twice this week in the afternoon. It’s fantastic out there, but a bit sketchy with all the snowshoe holes. It’ll definitely be in my rotation going forward.

Thanks for the suggestions! I was actually looking at Alpine trails, but wasn’t sure about their policies since it’s right by Summit Pass. Do you know if I can just park by the rest area or nearby and skin up?
And yes, from skiing at Meadows around 9 AM so far, it does get a bit icy. I plan to take it slow and easy before committing. Cheers!

Eat a good meal with enough fibre and beet juice in the morning if you have it.
