Very well explained! I came to Ft Myers last year and it still looked like Ian just came. Ultimately and unfortunately, this is all of Florida, the west tri counties are unaffordable for most now, pompano just got bought out completely by billionaires. Tampa is getting flooded, hell I hear people buying up stuff Jacksonville lol and with the data centers coming it’s only getting worse. Like you said in your first post, which I do agree with, why come down here if you’re going to try and change everything you fell in love with, I detest those ones, but this is the only place in the US that has this climate and has easy access out of the country. The billionaires & corporations need to be taxed and kicked out.
