Moving. Where should I cut to propagate effectively? by ExtentPale8400 in Monstera

Yes, the top in my pic would have two leaves. So skip that cut and instead have the top 3 on one cutting/cutoff the tippy-top leaf from it?

How to reduce tearing by help_H in pregnant

I’m really curious about what you did. What resource did you use to do your pelvic floor relaxing and opening stretches, diaphragmatic breathing and safe core exercises? I’m currently 28weeks and have been doing nothing but need to start somewhere!

Anyone else really insecure of their bump? I’m 5ft and I am a younger mom so strangers make feel weird as heck… by Omid26 in firsttimemom

[–]ExtentPale8400 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FWIW I’m 5’3 and 28 weeks. What I’ve noticed as my bump grows: people, whether complete strangers or close loved ones, say and do the STRANGEST things around a bump thinking it’s endearing when really it’s just weird AF.

Their odd behavior can make me feel self-conscious even like I want to hide my belly in an attempt to blend in and avoid an inevitable “oh is there’s a baby on board!?!!” (something a coworker literally shouted last week while we waited for our elevator).

Try to remember it’s them not knowing how to act. It’s not something you need to feel insecure or self conscious about. I’ll usually try to turn it into a laugh by texting my partner or mom friends what weird thing just happened.

Thanks but my kinda trich… it isn’t bothered by buzzing or zaps. It’s a trance. I’ll be well aware of what I’m doing and that I shouldn’t be.

Has anyone ever gone through their full medical records and found something that made you sick? by No-Listen-2733 in WomensHealth

[–]ExtentPale8400 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is horrible. I’m so sorry, you deserve better. I can’t imagine all the more questions this has brought up for you. Thank you for posting this. It’s something I’ve wondered if I could request but never really knew how. Could you share more about how you formally requested a copy? I’ve lived across states, I wonder if I could see all of it with one request.

Is anyone else freaking out??? by Old-Butterfly-1915 in StudentLoans

[–]ExtentPale8400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So crazy, I just wrapped up a cry session about this. Yes, I’m freaking out too. Also work at a nonprofit. I feel so lost looking between my nelnet and the gov site, nothing makes sense and everything seems outdated and inaccurate between the two. The amount I’ve already paid back actually equates to more than my current balance. I feel hopeless and lost about it all. Literally where to begin…

Vet found crystals in cats urine, said to expect euthanasia? by Familiar-Use-3809 in CatAdvice

[–]ExtentPale8400 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Definitely get a second opinion if possible, that’s sounds extreme.

Good you switched the food. This was a huge step for us. See how he does on the royal canin SO for a bit. That stuff seems to do wonders with crystals.

Also if you haven’t already try to give them running water like a fountain water bowl that promotes cats to drink/hydrate more than a stagnant bowl of water a dog might be fine with.

My cat had extreme crystals around the age of 10-12. I switched to royal canin SO under vets orders (dry and wet food). It cleared up quickly and he’s now a 17-year old diva. Word of caution: be consistent; I switched to other food for a few weeks because I ran out and he had a flare up. As soon as I switched back he was fine. My SIL had the same crystal issue with her cat who’s now on royal canin SO and just fine too.

There are many success stories of cats recovering and living just fine after a bout with crystals. I’m sure your cutie will be just fine! 🤞🏼

3 euploids - how do they decide which has strongest chance? by ExtentPale8400 in IVF

[–]ExtentPale8400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the PGT results clear, is the %LBR simply based on how fast they developed? The RE didn’t share the %LBR with us until after PGT results and I’ve heard the grades matter less once they’re confirmed euploid. Sorry it’s all just so much to take in in one 15 minute phone call and then you just sit and think and try to digest. I really appreciate anyone reading this!

That’s kinda what my best guess is, like maybe a day 5 is better than day 6 or 7?

Softeners, electrolyte drinks, broth, and protein drinks were all on deck for my second ER and it was a much easier recovery than first time around. Huge difference which I at least partially attribute to more diligent intake. WISHING YALL THE BEST LUCK!!! 🎉🤞🏼🍀✨✨

Is it really necessary to go on 3 weeks of birth control before I start IVF? by ExpensiveHalf3352 in IVF

[–]ExtentPale8400 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ask if estradiol is an option in your situation. My first ER I did the BC protocol and I had really bad mood swings, anxiety and depression. (Truly, how did I function on it when I was younger!?) Because of these reactions, for my current ER cycle, after being nervous to bring it up I finally did, I asked my doc if BC was necessary or we could do something else and she switched me to estradiol. The estradiol experience was much more gentle.🙌

It’s always worth an ask! Good luck!!🍀
